Transportation: Round-trip shuttle buses between Tai Po Market MTR Station and Sha Lo Tung will be provided.

Content:

Understand the ecological impacts of invasive species
Understand the impacts of Mikania, Paragrass and Apple Snails on wetlands in Sha Lo Tung
Removal of Mikania, Paragrass and Apple Snails

Important Notes:

Participants should be aged 11 or above.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by leader(s).
Tools for the removal action (e.g. gloves, spatulas, mesh screens, etc.) will be provided.
The activity involves walking in marshes and wetlands, it is recommended to bring your own water boots. Knee-high waterproof shoe covers will also be available for lent.
