Day tour

Target: Schools (P.3 or above) or non-profit organizations
Number of participants: 12-20 per group (including leader)
Gathering and dismissal point: Tai Po Market MTR station
Transportation: Round-trip shuttle buses between Tai Po Market MTR Station and Sha Lo Tung will be provided.
Guided tour language: Cantonese or English
Fee: Free of charge

Content:

Appreciate the ecologically important streams, learn about the interesting wetland flora and fauna
Visit Grade 2 historic buildings and former terraced fields, understand the traditional Hakka way of life
Learn about the threats to and conservation of Sha Lo Tung
Visit restored wetlands, understand the restoration works and their importance

Important Notes:

Participants should be aged 8 or above.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by leader(s).
